If you want to escape from the humidity of the country do not hesitate to come for a few days to Da Lat, located in the central highlands of southern Vietnam. Deciding where to stay at Da Lat is easy, either you stay in the city or look for something further away in the mountains. We decided to stay in the city as it has plenty of things to see on foot. The surroundings of Da Lat are very interesting, mostly mountains and waterfalls, and you can discover them on your own by renting a motorbike. If you want more details about the area you can consult the Da Lat Guide here.
If you are looking for a good value for money accommodation, without the need for luxury but clean and careful, with full breakfast, good wifi and good location do not hesitate to book at Thien Kim Guesthouse. We stayed 4 nights and we can only recommend it, the family is very nice and helps you in everything you need. The night in a double room for two people with breakfast cost us 215.400VND, without a doubt a really good price for the services.

Double room without balcony at Thien Kim Guesthouse
The location is very central but out of the bustle and noise so the rest is good, this is something to consider throughout Vietnam because the central accommodations in many cases, however good they are, you can not rest because of the noise. On arrival you are left with complimentary water bottles in your room, bath towels and soaps. Every day they clean the rooms and all the facilities are impeccable. The building does not have an elevator so if you have any mobility problems it is better to talk to them. They have laundry service and motorbike rental for 100.000 or 150.000VND per day depending on the model.

Breakfast is served every day between 07:30-09:30 and you can choose from several dishes. They ask you what you want from the menu the day before and the approximate time you will have breakfast to have everything ready. For me this is an important point, we found accommodations for Vietnam at the same price but without breakfast so you end up spending more money and time in the morning.
Before going to Thien Kim Guesthouse we booked another accommodation but he wrote to us cancelling the stay for renovation. We don’t understand very well why she had active rooms in Booking if they were closed but I mention it to you because I think it can be a good option for backpackers, although I can’t talk about it first hand since we didn’t get to go: Solo Dalat Hostel.
Without a doubt I recommend where we stayed Thien Kim Guesthouse because my experience was very good and for the price I can confirm that it meets my standards of cleanliness, comfort and quality.
